Easter 2010

Well this years Easter was jam packed with activity starting with a few days camping with Nanna's side of the family in Moama.  This was Jake's first official interstate trip!  Every Easter Craig's mums side of the family - cousins, aunts, uncles etc all go camping together and have done so for 40+ years.  We have only been a couple of times in the 10 years that Craig and I have been together but plan on trying to make it most years from now on.  This year we were only able to stay a couple of days as we had a wedding back in Melbourne on Easter Sunday.  There was 34 of us in total plus 3 babies soon to be born (yep Craig's cousin is having triplets - yikes!!).

Jake had an absolute ball just wandering around in his favourite place of all - OUTSIDE....
We had a great set up with Nanna and Pa although I think we could have done with a little bit more space but it was only a couple of nights and Nanna & Pa loved having Jake there to play with.
Yep that was it us on 1 side and Jake behind the curtain.  Was very handy having Nanna & Pa there as Craig and I managed to go to Oscar W's in Echuca for lunch on our anniversary which was nice.  The view over the river, gorgeous food and a nice bottle of wine made for a very relaxing afternoon.
This is Jake with probably his 5th cousin by the time we drill it all down.  She is 3 and was such the little mum to Jake.  They had a ball together and I am sure next year they will get along even better.

So we reluctantly headed home on Easter Saturday but not before leaving strict instructions with Nanna and Pa to try and get us a cabin for next Easter so we can stay the whole time.

Easter Sunday morning was great - Jake still not quite grasping the concept of Easter Eggs thought he was just given lots of Balls and played happily with them in between playing dress ups with Mummy's clothes!

We headed up to Mt Martha Park for an Easter Sunday BBQ with the Zonneveldt's, Barry's, Rich's x 2, Baka, Dida and Stev.  Jake had a ball and managed to find a few Easter Eggs with help from Uncle Stev in the annual Easter Egg hunt of which Mia was the official winner this year....

Jake then went to sleep for an hour or so as he had been up since 5am!!!  (Gotta love daylight saving).
We headed off for the wedding and Baka and Dida had Jake for the night.
