Happy Birthday Eva

I am doing a special post for Eva this year as normally she doesn't get in any photo's as she is the official family photographer but this time we managed to get some pics with her in so I thought it best to give her a special mention!!

After singing happy birthday the boys decided to see who was the king of the pool table and the speed ball - you can be the judge....

Our long over due Wodonga trip....

Last weekend we made the treck to Wodonga to catch up with our great friends Matt, Jane, James and the bump.....
We arrived safely just before 10pm and Jake had been a little super star in the car then settled beautifully into James' porta cot and woke ready for a fun filled day with his little mate James.
We headed down to the new Adventure Park in Wodonga with the lake where we fed the ducks (Jake also fed himself with some of the lovely bread for the ducks!!)

and then onto the brand new play equipment which could have probably done with a bit more shade in the multi million dollar plan but hey - the boys weren't complaining.....

after all that sun, laughter and playing we trecked back home for an awesome home cooked BBQ of which I have officially stolen the Rissole recipe and Jake loves them.....  The boys headed off to bed after a few laughs - namely me laughing very inappropriately as James tipped out not one or two cups of water but about 5!!   I am sure that will come back and bite me when Jake starts being cheeky....  As you can see below I think they were ready for it!

Somehow Jane'o missed the camera but she was there really.... thanks so much guys for having us - we love seeing you - still after 6 years or so we manage to laugh as ridiculaouly as we always have!  As mentioned though singstar was not to be seen - maybe it has something to do with not waking the kiddies!!  Can't wait to see you again soon probably with bubs # 2!

Craig turns 29..... only 365 more days until the big 30!

Happy Birthday Daddy....

This year for Craig we decided to go out for dinner which was a great idea.  Over to Steeples again with just a few of us (about 20!).  Was lovely to have the night off cooking and Craig got to have his favourite meal for dinner - go on guess - Chicken Parma...

It was nice for Craig to be able to have his mum and dad down for his birthday again.  Jake loves his Nanna and Pa.

The Darwinians....

After about 6 years we finally got to spend some good quality time with Uncle Paul, Tammy, Madi, Meg & Cam.....  Uncle Paul finally got some well earned extended leave - I think they call it "Shore Leave" in the Navy.  I quizzed him on all the Navy terms with my new found knowledge after watching Sea Patrol.  It was great to see them and for everyone to catch up.  They were down for about 10 days of which I think we saw them most days...

So for those of you that haven't seen them before but have heard about the family from Darwin here they are...

Uncle Paul...

Tammy...

Meg...

and Cam...

Madi was around for a while but don't seem to have many shots of her!

The 10 days were jam packed -

We spent some time down at our beach (Fishies) - they were very pleased to be able to actually swim in the water even if it was a little colder than the Darwin water.  Cold water is better than Croc water!

The Rich's all had dinner together and a good catch up..... finally a photo with all 4 of the Rich kids and then a family shot...

There was lots of time spent around Mum and Dad's pool with everyone!

The Darwin crew attended a wedding and all looked great....

Meg & Cam came around for a bit of a play with Jake...

Mums house was turned into a hair dressing studio...

Jake enjoyed playing with the water and the girls...

And then at the end of the 10 days they all headed home.  By the 10th day Jake was happy to give uncle Paul a cuddle good bye!

Was so nice to see them - hopefully we can see them again soon!
