Teething snuggles

I love when I get snuggles - not so much when it is because he is sooky and in pain with teething but however I get em' I love them! He is Mr Independent most of the time so this is a rare occasion!

Wednesday's at Baka's

Every Wednesday Jake is lucky enough to spend the day with his Baka (my mum) whilst I go to work.... As sad as I am to leave him I know he is having a great time.... Take a look at these pics of him playing with the grass on the front lawn. Apparently he might take after daddy and be a horticulturist!

My clumsy brothers...

Who would have thought that I would have both of my brothers with their arms in plaster at the same time....
This was taken later one night when Jamie got home from Frankston Emergency after falling off his motorbike and doing a damn good job of breaking both bones in his arm!
Stevo on the other hand fractured his arm a couple of months ago but only recently realised so after some bone grafts and pins his hand is now on the mend!
Needless to say I think Jamie and Stevo will be spending lots of time together over the next 8 or so weeks!!!
Jake must be wondering what is going on with their arms..... Interesting white stuff to play with and bang his rattle on!!

Loving life without all the winter clothes on...

Jake loves hanging out with all of his clothes off or semi off like in these pictures. Recently though trying to get clothes back onto him sees some pretty impressive tantrums!!! Screaming, tears, holding his breath and all! Can't wait for summer so he can just get around in his singlet and shorts - just like his uncles!!! (ha ha)

"Alright mum enough with the pictures!!!"

Me and my Dida....

Jake worked out that it was very exciting to sit on the edge of the step like his Dida and he was so excited to be sitting there hanging on every word his Dida had to say even though he doesn't understand any of it! How cute!

So cute and cuddly....

In the last week Jake seems to have just done so much...
In the space of 3 days he:
Got his first tooth, started saying Da da da da (on mothers day???), Started moving forward - in a crawl like fashion.... and since then he has
Learnt how to not fall over when sitting, rollover and move around in bed
and he now sleeps on his tummy - look how cute he is!!! (Couldn't help but sneak in to get a pic!!)
I think his new quilt from Gret Grandma is giving him a cozy nights sleep!

It was just a matter of time....

Before my gorgeous little man was turned into a Collingwood supporter!!!

Daddy was very very excited.

Thanks to Aunty Laura and Uncle Misha for ruining my chances of making him a Melbourne supporter!!!

But he does look soooo cute in his little hat and beanie!

My very first mothers day....

Well I was spoilt rotten which was lovely....

Jake slept through, I got strawberry pancakes and juice in bed.

A new cd, dvd and cute little book.

Then we went and had a lovely BBQ lunch with the family...

All in all it was an awesome day!
